Retreat East, Ipswich

I recently celebrated my birthday at Retreat East and treated myself to a spa day here. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made sure every detail was perfect, from delicious tea and coffee to my splendid full-body massage. My therapist Andrea was attentive and really knew how to help me relax. This was my first spa experience at Retreat East, and it certainly won't be my last!

During my stay, I had the pleasure of enjoying a meal at the Great Barn. The food was excellently prepared, and I must say, the duck I had was excellent. The dining atmosphere was cozy and inviting, adding to the overall experience. I was impressed by the chef's ability to deliver such quality meals, and feedback from guests is clearly valued, as the staff pass compliments on.

I stayed at the Hayloft barn, and it was just the right size for two. The cozy and warm décor made it feel like a home away from home. The amenities provided were great, ensuring we had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The peaceful environment was definitely one of the highlights of my stay!

I enjoyed the use of the Finnish sauna and the outdoor hot tub during my visit. It was such a lovely way to unwind after a day of exploring. The sauna was well-maintained and added a truly relaxing element to my stay. I loved being able to simply soak in the hot tub while taking in the surrounding views; it was the perfect way to elevate my relaxation experience!
